The idea of creating these products took shape in 2008 when the Chinese government banned using plastic bags which thickness is less than 25μm. In 2016 SOLUMAT® and SOLUBAG™ were introduced to the market as environmentally friendly water-soluble pellets, films, and bags. SOLUMAT® and SOLUBAG™’s products are made from natural starch and PVA, a kind of biodegradable material that is also water-soluble. These products are non-toxic to the environment, animals, and plants.
